10 Weird Medical Treatment In the World :

From thousands of years people are searching for better and effective ways of treatment for many diseases. In treatments like these, people do quite strange things that you might think will not help the patient but they sometimes do. Some treatments involve using herbs while others include the likes of laughter therapy. Many of these kind of bizarre treatments are compiled in this list.


10. Treatment of Asthma:

A family from India designed its own “health” system almost 100 years ago, which includes the ingestion of raw fish, a fish with the length that ranges from two to three inches. They make a yellow color herbal paste with these fish which are called “murrel”. The secret herbal paste is prepared by Batini Gaudi generation and is known only to family members. Some doctors say that several patients are cured from asthma forever by swallowing this fish for three consecutive years.

9. Rheumatic Fever:

Rheumatic fever which is an inflammatory disease caused by the infection of Streptococcus bacteria is treated differently in Egypt. It takes two to three weeks for the patient to get recovered from this disease. 8. Punchgavya (Cow Urine Therapy):

In India, a product made from cow urine is used as medication for the treatment of different diseases. The inhabitants believe that it can help you cure from diseases like cancer, nervous system disorders, and others.  It is assumed that cow urine is antiseptic and also treats cuts and wounds. The treatment or cow urine therapy is famous as “Panchgavya” in the region of its production. The Punchgavya is particularly used in Ayurveda and its ingredients are limited to cow’s urine; it may also include milk, curd, ghee or dung.

7. Yoga Laughter:

“Yoga of laughter” therapy reduces stress and increases energy. Especially, this method of treatment is very popular in India, where it was developed from a physician Madan Kataria. Most commonly the residents of Mumbai participate in this therapy. They are very much satisfied by this method of treatment which helps them to get rid of depression. Honey Bees stinging, yes, they are forced to do so for a medical purpose to cure from many diseases. It was developed as a popular healing tool in China and since then it is one of the popular methods of alternative medicine to cure many diseases, including gout, rheumatoid arthritis, chronic fatigue syndrome and fibromyalgia.

5. Fire Cupping:

This healing technique uses vacuum that is created by heated air in a warmed glass cup and held against the patient’s skin. The cups are generally round shaped and up to 10 cups can be used at a time for the treatment of any kind of pain. The patients are required to bear the heated vacuum for about 20 minutes. This method is famous in Chinese medicinal cultures and is often used to treat pain, arthritis, and congestion. It can also reduce swelling and musculoskeletal discomfort and ease depression.

4. Moxibustion:

Moxibustion, is medicinal technique normally used in Asian countries like Vietnam, Korea, Japan, China, Mongolia, and Tibet. It requires the use of “mugwort” herb, commonly called moxa which is used directly or indirectly in this treatment. In indirect moxibustion, the herb is used after grinding into fine dust for the medication of ailment along with acupuncture needles. Direct moxibustion treatment is followed by putting the herb into a cigar-like stick and is burned directly on the patient’s skin. This treatment is regularly used to fight against dampness and colds within the body, treating feverish diseases, as well as weakness and even to relieve side effects brought by epilepsy. It’s said that the technique is able to turn the abnormal position of the baby in the womb to a normal position due to the fact that mugwort acts as an ammenagogue, which stimulates blood-flow in the uterus and pelvis.

3. Treatment of Fresh Burn:

It has been observed that if you use a potato peel on a fresh burn it will heal faster than the traditional bandage. The great advantage of this treatment is that a potato is easily available in almost every house, it is non-sticky, heals fast, patients don’t cry out when it is removed, and it will keep the skin moist. A burn patient loses moisture through the evaporation occurring from the wound, but the potato peel helps prevent that from reducing moisture from the skin, also potato peel has anti-bacterial properties.

2. Jelly Fish Sting Treatment with vinegar:

Pouring vinegar on a jellyfish sting can stop the toxin that is released by the sting. Remove all the tentacles of jellyfish and then pour vinegar on the wound, it would reduce the pain and stop the release of more venom into your system.

This process consists of making a hole in the brain in order to relieve an ailment that may be occurring in the brain. It was assumed that the practice would heal epileptic seizures, migraines, and mental disorders. This practice is still in use worldwide, when swelling of the brain occurs due to a head injury, or when blood appears under the finger nail. People that lay on a bed of nails are thought to be performing a version of this procedure, because it releases pressure from blood vessels under the skin.
